Our Doctor

Tina P. Oliver, DPM

doctor Dr. Tina Oliver graduated podiatric medical school from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, California, earning her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM). Following graduation, Dr. Oliver completed residency training in medicine and surgery at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio/Department of Orthopedic Surgery. She is board certified in foot surgery and a diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. She is in fact the first African American female in the U.S. to become board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

In practice for over 25 years, Dr. Oliver is a fellow of the American College of Foot Surgeons and a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the National Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Oliver holds hospital affiliations with MD Anderson Cancer Center, where she is a clinical specialist; St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital; and TIRR Memorial Hermann, where she is a consulting physician. She has published several scientific papers and is currently doing research at MD Anderson Cancer Center. She was the recipient of the American Podiatric Medical Association’s Hall of Science award for a poster on Transmetatarsal Amputations. She is actively involved in the community and enjoys mentoring the youth.
